Chamber/Bureau to hold expo
The Park City Chamber/Bureau is set to host a Locals & Pros — Meet & Eat Expo on May 20. The event is designed to give residents a chance to interact with members of the Chamber/Bureau business community. The expo will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Park City/The Yarrow, at 1800 Park Ave. Admission is free and open to the public, and food and drinks will be served. Brew pubs celebrate beer week
Wasatch Brew Pub and Squatters Craft Beers are celebrating American Craft Beer Week with a handful of events. According to a press release, American Craft Beer Week runs from May 11 through May 17 and honors the country’s beer culture. There are more than 3,200 small and independent craft brewers in the U.S. Wasatch and Squatters will be holding daily events throughout the week, including Beer 101 Classes, Horizontal IPA tastings and a pub crawl. Rocky Mountain Power unveils app
Rocky Mountain Power has released a mobile app that will allow customers to access their accounts from phones or tablets. According to a press release, customers can also use the app to report or check information on power outages and receive alerts, among other features. Customers can download the app from the Apple App Store or on the Google Play store. "We’re listening to what customers want, and this is one way we’re making it easier for customers to do business with us," said Doug Leeper, director of customer services, in the release. "This mobile app is intuitive and is able to grow as customer needs grow."
