Synderville Basin Water Reclamation District receives award for excellence

The Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District captured six coveted national and state awards for excellence during the annual conference of the Water Environment Association of Utah in St George.

Water Environment Federation (National Award):

  • George W. Burke, Jr. Facility Safety Award

    "In Recognition of the Excellence of its Active and Effective Safety Program and Safety Record"

    Water Environment Association of Utah Awards for 2012:

  • Outstanding Water Reclamation Facility East Canyon

    Water Reclamation Facility (under 5 MGD)

  • Outstanding Collection System (over 5 MGD)
  • Outstanding Pretreatment Program
  • Excellence Award (overall award)
  • First Place Collection System – Operator Challenge

"We also appreciate that the state association honored our employees for their many accomplishments."

    The Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District collects and reclaims wastewater generated by more than 11,000 homes and commercial enterprises in Park City and the Snyderville Basin. Its mission is " to protect public health and the environment by developing, integrating, and implementing fiscally responsible solutions to wastewater, water reclamation and watershed protection issues."
