"We’re excited to be joining the Fourth of July celebration this year in bringing local music to the local Park City area," Morrill said during an interview with The Park Record. "It’s going to be a really good gathering and we are grateful for the opportunity of exposing people of all ages to Uncle Uncanny’s, which is a huge supporter of music in Utah."

In addition, children and their families will be introduced to Gary Swanson, of Silent Swan Studios, who will bring his art and interactive marionette, Morrill said.

"Gary is very active in the art community," he said. "He had an amazing exhibit down at the Utah Arts Festival last week, and up here he’s going to have a selection of his paintings and the marionette there for people of all ages to play with."

Morrill said the Uncle Uncanny’s Fourth of July event is another opportunity for people to get out and enjoy the holiday with the community.

"I think we’re filling niche of music and art, and we’re providing another gathering space for family and friends," he said. "I’m looking forward to having an amazing event."

The Uncle Uncanny’s Fourth of July Event will begin at 11:45 a.m. at the Town Lift Plaza on Monday, July 4. The event is free.
