Full slate of Libation Nation winners

Bonnie Ulmer of Deer Valley won the fourth annual Libation Nation.

Whether shaken, stirred or on the rocks, Ulmer’s Deer Valley St Germain Elderflower cocktail contains 3 ounces of an Italian sparkling wine called Prosecco, 1.5 ounces of St. Germain Elderflower Liquor, 1.5 ounces of sparkling water and garish with a sprig of mint and lemon zest.

Michelle Whitaker of Ghidotti’s won second place for Park City Press, a drink that combines vodka, gin, Cointreau, white grape juice, fresh mint and red grapes.

Third place went to Richard Noel. His Mountain Berry Margarita contains locally distilled whiskey, raspberries, blackberries and other ingredients.

Ballet West world premiere

Under the direction of Adam Sklute, Ballet West’s remarkable dancers will premiere one scintillating new piece of choreography amid a magical Park City evening of dance. Founded in 1963, this beautiful, graceful, Salt Lake-based troupe makes a high-altitude splash with timeless-yet-frontier-pushing ballet.Saturday, April 11, from 7:30 until 9:30 p.m. at The Eccles Center, Ballet West will perform a show. Easter-eggs galore as resorts close

Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons resort close for the ski and snowboard season April 12 with Easter celebrations. Park City Mountain Resort has extended its season. It will be open until April 19. The Easter Bunny will be at Snow Park Lodge at Deer Valley from 9 to 11 a.m. Guests are invited to bring a camera and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Join PCMR in the Kids Corral at 9 a.m. for visits with the Easter Bunny. Then head onto the mountain with the Easter Bunny for an all-mountain, all ages egg hunt. Participants must be on skis or snowboards. An opportunity drawing will offer prizes including season passes. The Canyons ends its season with a visit from the Easter Bunny, a free Easter-egg hunt near Red Pine Lodge, and Easter brunch at The Cabin.

But tickets early for "Stimulated!"

The annual "Follies" event at the Egyptian Theatre is a community favorite and often a sellout show. It’s a fun romp of song, dance, acting and video revue of the past year. Shows run April 30 through May 1 with two shows on May 2. Evening performances run from 8 to 10 p.m. on the Main Street stage. Big Wide Grin

Mountain Home Concert Series presents "Big Wide Grin" Saturday, April 11, at a home in Silver Creek. The Easter potluck starts at 6 p.m. with a BYOB reception. Music starts at 7 p.m. Organizers ask for $20 for tickets bought online at and $25 at the door. "Big Wide Grin" is a bi-coastal trio of Elaine Dempsey, Lawrence Lambert & Karl Werne, hailing from California and Virginia, bring such diverse backgrounds of experience, music and theater together to form a rich, soulful blend of character and harmony so deep and dynamic, it will move you to an understanding of their name.
