The Kimball Art Center is looking for volunteers to take part in the Park City Kimball Arts Festival. The Park City Kimball Arts Festival is Utah’s oldest and longest running Visual Arts Festival. Festival dates this year are August 5 – 6. This year’s festival will feature more than 200 nationally acclaimed artists and craftsmen, along with great food, live entertainment and fun family activities. Volunteers will help out in all areas from face painting to artist registration and ticket taking. To register, e-mail membership00 p.m. until 1 a.m. at The Elks Lodge. Tickets are $15 online and at Orion’s Music or $17 at the door.

Nature preserve festival

Swaner Nature Preserve’s watershed festival will be held outside of Basin Recreation’s Field House at Newpark, today. This is a free and informative community event sponsored by the preserve, Park City, Summit County, Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District, and the East Canyon Watershed Committee.
