The Friends of the Summit County Libraries will host its 7th Annual Community Book Sale at the Kimball Junction Library. All books, craft kits, journals, calendars, kids’ software, stationery and more are half off the retail price. The public is invited Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7 from noon to 5 p.m. All proceeds benefit library services and resources that are free to Summit County residents. The sale will be held in the auditorium adjacent to the library, 6505 N. Landmark Drive, in Kimball Junction. Call 615-3900 or go to for more information.

Skate with Santa

Santa visits the Park City Ice Arena Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Bring a sled and wear warm clothes for ice skating and sledding. Activities are free and include face painting, caroling, lighting the tree, refreshments, pictures with Santa and much more. For more information, contact Denise at 615-5819.

Newcomers’ Monthly Coffee

On Dec. 10 at 10 a.m., the young cast of "You’re a good man, Charlie Brown" will perform for the Newcomers’ club. Preview this classic feel-good musical and reacquaint yourself with your favorite Peanuts characters at the Fellowship Hall of Park City Community Church, 4501 N. Hwy 224 on Bear Hollow Fr.
