Tele Tribe at The Canyons

Join the Tele Tribe, Park City’s youth telemark skiing club. The program offers telemark ski instruction in a safe, noncompetitive atmosphere for all levels and abilities, ages eight to 18 years old. Meet at The Canyons Resort at Red Pine Lodge on Sundays from noon until 4 p.m. The Tele Tribe runs until April 5. Cost depends on how many Sundays participants sign up. Utah Moms for Clean Air Public Meeting

Utah Moms for Clean Air is for everyone concerned about clean air in Utah. Learn about the organization’s current initiatives and opportunities to volunteer. The event is Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at the Anderson-Foothill Library, 1135 S. 2100in East Salt Lake City.

Freestyle World Cup Halfpipe

Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley are partnering together to host a Freestyle World Cup event this season. The ski halfpipe competition will take place Saturday, Jan. 31, at PCMR. Thursday night, Jan. 29, will include a free concert by Michael Franti and Spearhead on Main Street near the Town Lift Plaza followed by fireworks. All events are free to the public. The competitions will air on NBC Sunday, February 8th at 3 p.m. EST and on Versus Sunday, Feb. 8 and 15 at 4 p.m. The event runs from Thursday, Jan. 29, to Saturday, Jan. 31.
