Patrick Parkinson, Of the Record staff

A man who is wanted in Nevada was arrested Thursday at a motel in Coalville, the authorities said.

The fugitive will be extradited to Las Vegas, according to Ron Bridge, a Summit County Sheriff’s Office detective.

A no-bail arrest warrant was issued for the suspect by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, according to Bridge.

Sheriff’s Office deputies and FBI agents took the man into custody without incident at about 6:30 p.m., Bridge said in a prepared statement.

The man was wanted for child neglect and "abuse with substantial bodily harm," according to Bridge.

The suspect was in the Summit County jail on Friday.
