Upcoming events in Summit County

Recreation priority surveys to be mailed out

Park City Municipal Corporation and the Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District are conducting a Community Attitude and Interest Survey to establish priorities for the future improvement of parks and recreation facilities, programs and services within the community. The survey will be sent by mail to all households in Park City and the Snyderville Basin. To achieve the most complete representation of community interests in the survey results it is very important that households participate. The time residents invest in completing this survey will enable Park City and Basin Recreation to take a resident-driven approach in making decisions. Democratic County Convention

The Summit County Democratic Party will hold its County Convention on Saturday, March 31, at the Park City Community Church. Delegates will be voting for candidates to appear on the November Ballot. Residents are welcome to come and listen to local, state and national candidates’ speeches. The event will take place from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Summit County Library to hold parenting workshop

The Summit County Library will hold a series of classes on "Parenting Teens Through Love and Logic" to help parents and teens communicate. The event is sponsored by Summit County’s Kimball Junction Library and is free. The first class is on Monday, April 2, at 6 p.m. at the Sheldon Richins Building.
