County Sheriff’s Report
Monday, a man reportedly fell while working on the mountain at The Canyons.
"It was an industrial accident," said Josh Wall, a spokesman for the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. "Ski patrol responded They flew him out of there."
The accident occurred in the area of the Ninety-nine 90 lift at The Canyons, Wall said.
County dispatchers received a medical call from the ski resort at about 3 p.m., he explained.

A case of domestic violence was reported from a North Summit home July 27 at 7:14 p.m.
July 27, a woman said golf clubs were stolen from her car while she parked the day before at a grocery store at Kimball Junction.
A condominium in the Snyderville Basin was reportedly vandalized July 27 at 11:50 a.m.
Somebody at 900 Bitner Road said their Toyota pickup truck was burglarized July 27 at 8:44 a.m.
An iPod was stolen when a Nissan Xterra was allegedly burglarized at 900 W. Bitner Road July 27.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash that involved a Mazda and Acura near McDonald’s at Kimball Junction July 26 at 5:15 p.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a hit-and-run traffic crash reported to the Sheriff’s Office from a parking lot at Kimball Junction July 26 at 3:25 p.m.
A noisy domestic dispute was reported from a Snyderville Basin neighborhood July 26 at 1:56 a.m.
somebody reportedly suffered a leg fracture when they crashed on an all terrain vehicle in a subdivision in the Uinta Mountains east of Kamas.
A woman on Ponderosa Drive said her house was burglarized July 25.
Illegal fireworks were discharged in Summit Park July 24 at 10:44 p.m.
Somebody on South Shore Drive said their neighbors discharged illegal fireworks July 24 at 9:20 p.m.
Two people were fighting near Weber Canyon Road east of Oakley July 24 at 7:57 p.m.
More than $1,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from a business on State Road 224 July 24 at 6:40 p.m.
A man allegedly stole a pair of flip-flops from a Tanger Outlet Center store July 24 at 4 p.m.
Graffiti was discovered "all over Glenwild" July 24 at 9:21 a.m.
July 23, a man in western Summit County told a Sheriff’s Office dispatcher that $9,620 was taken fraudulently from his bank account.
No injuries were reported as a result of a hit-and-run traffic crash in the Snyderville Basin July 23 at 1:08 p.m.
No serious injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash that involved a van and sport utility vehicle at The Colony July 23 at 10:28 a.m.
A woman reportedly suffered minor injuries when she was struck by a truck on her bicycle at Silver Summit July 23 at 9:50 a.m.
No injuries were reported when a Subaru rolled over near Wanship July 23 at 7:15 a.m.
A man was in custody at Redstone Towne Center July 21 for allegedly trying to steal DVDs from a shop near Kimball Junction.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash that involved two cars in the Snyderville Basin July 18 at 2:20 p.m.
Somebody on Chalk Creek Road said a man was shooting a gun from a truck July 18 at 10:10 a.m.
No serious injuries were reported when a vehicle caught fire near Cedar Hills Way in Coalville July 17 at 6:08 p.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a hit-and-run traffic crash a Wanship man reported July 17 at 4:14 p.m.
A man on White Pine Canyon Road said a company that offers commercial helicopter rides in western Summit County flew a chopper too low and scared his horses July 17 at 11:12 a.m.
A moose reportedly became tangled in a swing set near Saddleback Road in Jeremy Ranch July 17 at 8:35 a.m.
A woman in Timberline reported a case of credit-card fraud to the Sheriff’s Office July 16 at 3:57 p.m.
A damaged ATM was found at a South Summit rock quarry July 16 at 12:22 p.m.
A Woodland man said prescription painkillers were stolen from his home July 16 at 12:09 p.m.
A Jeremy Ranch woman said a debit card was stolen from a vehicle July 16 at 11:49 a.m.
A computer was allegedly stolen from inside a house in Pinebrook July 16 at 11:39 a.m.
July 15, a man was injured when he crashed on a motorcycle in Kamas at 8:45 p.m.
A case of domestic violence was reported to the Sheriff’s Office from South Summit July 15.
Somebody allegedly stole about $109 worth of gasoline from a Coalville store July 14 at 4:45 p.m.
A Jeremy Ranch woman said an expensive pair of running shoes was stolen from her house on Sackett Drive July 14.
