A caller on Oslo Lane in Sun Peak told a Summit County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher a bear was standing near her home on June 14.
The woman said she spotted the bear near Utah Olympic Park at about 7:07 p.m.

An employee at a shop at Tanger Outlet Center reported a suspected shoplifter June 19 at 4:23 p.m.
On June 19, a caller complained to a dispatcher about the behavior of two officers in ParkWest at 3:38 p.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a hit-and-run traffic crash reported to the Sheriff’s Office from Willow Creek Park June 19 at 3:03 p.m.

A man was thrown from a horse near the Mirror Lake Highway east of Kamas June 19 at 9:39 a.m.

A woman on Cove Canyon Drive said an item was stolen from her porch June 15.
