County Sheriff’s Report
August 6, 2010
Deputies are investigating several cases of vandalism that occurred in the Jeremy Ranch area on Aug. 1.
"It appears that they just kind of walked down the street and broke out people’s porch lights and front-lawn lights," said Detective Ron Bridge, a spokesman for the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. "Each incident was very, very similar in nature."
About a dozen cases were reported, Bridge said.
"At this time it’s still under investigation. When somebody’s property is damaged and criminal mischief takes place, of course the victims want the crime solved because they want restitution," Bridge said.
Other calls received last week by Sheriff’s Office dispatchers included:
No injuries were reported as a result of traffic crash that involved two vehicles near Kimball Junction Aug. 1 at 11:49 p.m.
