Dems plan fund-raiser

State Sen. Ross Romero is slated to speak Sept. 9 at a fund-raiser for the Summit County Democratic Party.

The event at the Wasatch Brew Pub at 205 S. Main Street begins at 4:30 p.m.

"This is a great opportunity for people to meet their candidates for next year’s mid-term elections and get to know a person on the Democratic state ticket," said Glenn Wright, a spokesman for the Summit County Democratic Party.
