Dating, hiking or dog-parking in Park City? There’s an app for that

Now that many of Park City’s businesses and nonprofits have jumped on the Facebook and Twitter bandwagons, the ‘next big thing’ in the world of digital media is apps, or applications for mobile devices.

Although few local groups have developed apps, the state of Utah and some surprising entities have jumped on board. From finding a date to finding out how much your neighbors contribute to political campaigns, it turns out that there really is an app for almost anything.

Below, check out a list of applications that directly or indirectly pertain to Park City and get a glimpse into what you can find at the touch of a finger pad:


  • KPCW FM Unofficial Radio App (free)

    This is a fan app that makes it easy to listen to your favorite public radio station. It is not sponsored or endorsed by KPCW.

  • Utah SpeedDate (free)
