Dog bites boy

by Jay Hamburger OF THE RECORD STAFF

A dog bit a boy on July 27 as the boy rode on a scooter on a paved trail on the edge of City Park, the Park City Police Department said.

According to Phil Kirk, a Police Department captain, a middle-aged woman was walking two dogs, which were both on leashes, when one of them — a Queensland heeler — bit the boy on his right ankle.

Kirk said police officers were unable to find the woman.

A man has twice sprayed unleashed dogs with pepper spray on the same trail.
