Drunken driving suspects pulled over in Park City


The Park City Police Department last week pulled over at least seven people suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Public police logs listed the traffic stops, but they did not provide details about the cases. Someone who is suspected of drunken driving is normally arrested at the location of the traffic stop.

The cases last week included:

  • on Saturday, Nov. 17, someone was stopped at 10:18 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Heber Avenue.
  • on Nov. 17, a police officer stopped someone at 9:47 p.m. on Swede Alley
  • on Nov. 17, a driver was stopped at 12:40 a.m. at the intersection of Bonanza Drive and Prospector Avenue
  • on Friday, Nov. 16, a driver was stopped on Park Avenue at 9:40 p.m.
  • on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 9:11 p.m., a driver was pulled over on Bonanza Drive
  • on Nov. 13, a driver was stopped at 1:13 a.m. on Deer Valley Drive in the vicinity of Shortline Road.

    The Police Department, meanwhile, conducted a round of traffic patrols on Sunday afternoon and into the evening. At least 18 drivers were pulled over on streets like S.R. 248, Kearns Boulevard and Deer Valley Drive.
