Park City High School will hold its commencement ceremony on June 6 at 5 p.m. The event will be held at Dozier Field (or, in the event of inclement weather, the Eccles Center). Scheduled to speak are: Ian Joseph Painter (Valedictorian), John William Sanderson (Salutatorian), Dallin Quinn (Student Body President), John Patterson (Senior Class President) and Elizabeth Archer (Student Speaker). Open house at the library

The Kimball Junction Branch Library will celebrate its new addition with an open house on May 30 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The new teen area will remain open until 8 p.m for teens to enjoy free food and a Nintendo Wii. For more information, call (435) 615-3947.

School board town hall

A meeting will be held to introduce and speak to candidates for School Board Precinct 3 on May 29 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at McPolin Elementary School. A primary to select the top 2 candidates is scheduled for June 24.

Brown bag lecture

The Park City Historical Society will continue its lectures series at the McPolin farm on May 22 at noon. Dick Pick will discuss "Aerial Tramways." For more information, call the Park City Historical Society at (435) 649-7457.
