Student achievement

Natalie Singer, of Park City, graduated cum laude from Skidmore College with a degree in international affairs. Adam Moore, also of Park City, received degrees in economics and philosophy from Tufts University.

Treasure Mountain registration

Treasure Mountain International School will send out registration packets on August 7 and open for eighth-grade registration on Aug. 12 with ninth-grade registration to follow the day after. Open registration begins on Aug. 14 and school starts on Aug. 24. For more information, contact Treasure Mountain at 645-5640 when the school reopens Aug. 7.

Get immunized

Future seventh-grade students in Utah can avoid the lines by getting their immunizations now for:

-1 TD/TDaP (tetanus) booster

-1 varicella (otherwise known as chicken pox. If a student has had the disease then no vaccine is required. Parents must sign school immunization cards for verification.)

-3 hepatitis b.

All of these treatments are required for seventh-grade entry. For more information, students should contact their health care provider or the Utah Immunization Hotline at (800) 275-0659.

Parking reminder

The Eccles parking lot will remain closed until August 1 for construction.
