The Gallery Space

Park City High School is proud to host an exhibit of the paintings of retiring School Board Member and former PCHS Art Teacher David Chaplin. PCHS officially opened the new Art Gallery Space beside the Counselors’ Office on Jan. 7 during the Open House Celebration. Please drop in to see David Chaplin’s exhibition and sign the brown book inside the gallery.

Prom volunteers needed

PTSO needs volunteers to help make prom a success. We are organizing the transportation and pre-party and need fun parents to make it happen. Please email Connie (cwhitworth@synchro-mastering.com ) or call Kristen at 655-2961 for details.

China exchange program

Applications are being accepted for the 2009-2010 China Exchange, sponsored and facilitated by the U.S.-China People’s Friendship Association. Ten students plus one teacher and one administrator from Park City High School will be selected to travel to China in October 2009. An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 7-8 p.m. in the Large Lecture Hall at the high school. Interested students and their parents should attend. Application forms are available now in the main office. Applications are due by Feb. 27 to dance teacher Ciara Murano Steele or Vice Principal Dave McNaughtan. A teacher recommendation is required. Each application must also be accompanied by a $100 deposit, refundable to those who are not selected for the exchange.
