Scholarships for ‘normal folks’

Parents and students are invited to the Scholarship Club seminar on Wednesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. in the Large Lecture Hall at Park City High School. Come learn about scholarship opportunities for everyone (regardless of grades, financial status, age or affiliations – or the lack thereof) and review the Community Scholarship Application process. Talent show

McPolin Elementary School will host a third- through fifth-grade talent show on Wednesday, April 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. Pizza, drinks and baked goods will be on sale during the event, and the suggested donation per family is $10. All proceeds from the event will be used by fifth-grade students to purchase a departing present for the school. Come and enjoy some great performances!


Park City High School students Alex Cohen, John Eckels, Robbie Malcolm and Kelly McGuire have been named as finalists for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Stuart Johnson was selected to play percussion in the All-State Orchestra. 2008 Park City High School graduate Katelyn Brenner, a first-year student at The College of Wooster in Ohio, recently received the Herrick L. Johnson Scholarship in Chemistry.
