Ecker Hill requires proof of immunizations

Prior to completion of 7th grade registration, Ecker Hill families must provide the school with proof of the DPT booster. Please see your health care provider for documentation and bring your papers to the Ecker Hill front office. Utah law, students will not be allowed to pick up their class schedules or locker combination until shot records are on file at the school.

Back to school meet and greet at Park City Day School

Parents and students are invited to stop by their classrooms between 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19 for an informal "meet & greet" with their teachers. Check in at the Front Desk for directions to your child’s classroom.

Treasure Mountain to host ice cream social

Treasure Mountain International School will be hosting a community ice cream social for new students Monday Aug. 23 from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Teachers and administrators will be at the school for the first teacher contract day.

Anne Fosburg, a student in Park City School District, won first place in the Ayn Rand Institute’s annual Anthem essay contest and pocketed $2,000 in prize money. Fosburg submitted her essay as a ninth grader at Treasure Mountain International Middle School and will be attending Park City High School this fall.

In 2009, the essay contest attracted more than 16,000 entries from across the world. Essays are judged on style and content. Winning essays also must demonstrate an outstanding grasp of the philosophic meaning of Anthem.
