Commencement exercises for 18 graduating students of the Winter Sports School will take place Friday, Nov. 17, at 4 p.m., at the Prospector Square Lodging and Conference Center Theater, 2200 Sidewinder Drive, in Park City, adjacent to the Silver Mountain Sports Club

Movie Premiere

The Park City Education Foundation will premiere an animated children’s movie "Happy Feet," on Thursday Nov. 16, at the Eccles Center for Performing Arts, one day before it opens nationwide. The fundraiser is part of PCEF Week, bringing awareness to PCEF- funded district programs. Pre-movie festivities begin at 5 p.m., with the movie beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for kids and students.

Park City Library presentation

"What did Equality Mean to Lincoln?" will be presented by Bruce Dain, Ph.D., associate professor, department of history, University of Utah on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. in the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library.
