Utah’s enrollment window is open for parents to apply for transfers to other schools in the state for the 2006-07 school year. As prescribed by the state, applications must be received at the District Office no later than the third Friday in February. All Park City schools are open except Jeremy Ranch and Park City High. Applications may be obtained from any Park City school or from the District Office on 2700 Kearns Blvd. Those with questions can call Nancy Scott at 615-0225. Academic accolades Park City native Lindsay Leithead, a senior-year design student at Utah State University, was named first-place winner of the third annual Student Design Contest, sponsored by KitchenAid, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and Southern Accents magazine. The 2005 winners are featured in the November-December issue of Southern Accents, available on newsstands now. IB parent orientation Treasure Mountain International School will host a Parent Orientation Event on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. The event will provide information regarding the International Baccalaureate Middle Years certificate, the Advanced Placement geography/world history class, honors English and honors biology course offerings for ninth-grade students. There will also be a question and answer session immediately following the presentation.
