Gift of Giving

Smith’s Food and Drug Stores is sponsoring donations to local food banks during the holiday season. Smith’s offers a "gift bag," donation of 13 canned food items worth $11 for a cost of $7, or, a turkey can be purchased for the food bank for $ 10. The program is available at all Smith’s stores through Dec. 16.

Toys for Tots

Parley’s Park Elementary School Student Council is sponsoring a Toys for Tots drive.

Toys may be delivered to Parley’s Park Elementary School from 8 a.m.

-4 p.m. until Dec. 11. Two drop boxes are located inside by the main office.

Families who are in need of gifts for their children may go to the Toys for Tots distribution center located at Fort Douglas in Salt Lake City beginning Dec. 18. The PPES

Student Council students will be volunteering at distribution center.

Angel Trees for Peace House

Angel Trees will be located at the Park City Library and Summit County Library.The Angel Trees will have ornaments listing items needed by families at the Peace House. The ornaments were made by Soaring Wings Montessori School students.The items can be returned to the tree locations through Dec. 11. The Soaring Wings Education Foundation will collect the donations.
