Volunteers needed at Swaner, Student tickets available for Utah Symphony, Elementary science fair dates

VOLUNTEER AT SWANER FOR HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE

Volunteers are needed to help with Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter’s Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. Volunteers will be assigned to the climbing wall, front desk, children’s craft activities or green building tours. Volunteers are also needed to help set up and man information booths. STUDENT TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

The Utah Symphony will be performing at the Eccles Center on Dec. 9. Student tickets are available for $10. Two student tickets can be purchased per student ID. Call (801) 355-2787 to purchase tickets or visit http://www.pcschools.us for more information.

McPolin Elementary will host its science fair on Jan. 24. Registration deadline is Jan. 17. Trailside Elementary School’s science fair will be Feb. 15 – Feb. 16. Registration deadline is Feb. 6. Jeremy Ranch Elementary School will host its fair on Jan. 26. The registration deadline is Jan. 13. Parley’s Park science fair will be Feb. 15 with a registration deadline of Feb. 6.
