Schools closed for winter break, Spring musical auditions at Treasure Mountain, South Summit Elementary parents classes
SCHOOLS CLOSED UNTIL JANUARY
Park City schools will be closed from Dec. 17 through Jan. 2. Students will resume classes on Jan. 3. The Weilenmann School of Discovery will be closed Dec. 17 through Jan. 1. Classes will resume Monday, Jan. 2. The Park City Day School will be closed Dec. 17 through Jan. 2. South Summit School District will be closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 2. North Summit School District will be closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 1, and school will resume on Monday, Jan. 2.
AUDITIONS FOR TMJHS SPRING MUSICAL
Treasure Mountain Junior High School will kick off the New Year with auditions for the spring musical, "The Pirates of Penzance." Auditions will begin on Jan. 3. For more information, contact the school at (435) 645-5640 or see Mr. Zumbrunnen in Room 39 when school resumes.
SOUTH SUMMIT ELEMENTARY OFFERS PARENT CLASS
South Summit Elementary School will host a Love and Logic for Parents class offered by Valley Mental Health on Wednesday, Jan. 11. A meal will be provided at 5:30 p.m. and classes will begin at 6 p.m. Parents must register with the school to attend. Child care will be provided. The Community Foundation will present on eliminating food waste from Summit County landfills by 2030.
