TRAILSIDE ELEMENTARY READ-A-THON
Trailside Elementary School’s 2nd Annual Reach the Peak Read-A-Thon will run Monday, Feb. 27, through Monday, March 26. Information will be sent home in students’ packets. Reading charts should be submitted each Monday in March in order for the student’s reading minutes to count. There will be prizes and free books for the students who meet their reading-minute goals and an ice cream party for the class in each grade level with the most reading minutes. PARK CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
The Park City School District is scheduled to hold a preschool information meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at each elementary school. Preschool registration will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16, at the District Office. There will be a $35 nonrefundable fee required at the time of registration. Students must be three or four years old by Sept. 2, 2012, to participate in this program. For information call the district office at (435) 645-5600.
TREASURE MOUNTAIN PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Treasure Mountain Junior High School is scheduled to hold parent-teacher conferences on March 7-8. Appointments will be available from 3 to 5 p.m., and can be made by visiting the school’s website at http://www.tmms.pcschools.us beginning Feb. 27.
