Park City School District Science Fair, College education workshop, Swaner Preserve Teen Council meeting
PARK CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT SCIENCE FAIR
Park City School District will host a district-wide science fair on Feb. 28 at the Park City High School. The registration deadline is Feb. 20. A standard registration packet for PCSD students and additional information is available on the district website at http://www.pcschools.us . Winners from the PCSD District Science Fair will participate in the Salt Lake Valley Science and Engineering Fair in late March. COLLEGE PROVIDES FREE EDUCATION WORKSHOP
The Provo/Orem Campus of Stevens-Henager College, a provider of higher education specializing in the business, medical and technical fields, has announced a free career and employment workshop on Feb. 24 for Utah County residents. The workshop is open to people seeking to advance their careers and will include sessions for all job seekers, including veterans, GED graduates and single parents. SWANTER TEEN COUNCIL MEETING
Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is scheduled to hold its monthly Teen Council meeting on the third Thursday of each month. The next meeting will be on March 15, at 6 p.m. at the Kimball Junction location. The council is free to join. Students must be in grades 9-12 in Summit County.
