Kohl’s scholarship program, Mini day camp at Swaner, Youth Soccer League at Park City Recreation

KOHL’S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Two-weeks remain to nominate young volunteers for the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program. Students ages six to 18 who have made a positive impact on their communities can be awarded scholarships and prizes, ranging from $50 Kohl’s gift cards to $10,000 scholarships. To nominate volunteers visit http://www.kohlskids.com . Nominations are accepted through March 15. Nominators must be at least 21 years old.

SWANER PRESERVE OFFER MINI DAY CAMP

Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is scheduled to host "It’s Easy Being Green: Mini Day Camp for Youth," on Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The camp will include "green" hands-on activities on St. Patrick’s Day, including playing games, completing art projects and conducting a community service project. Spring registration for Park City Recreation Youth Soccer league will be open until March 30. Students must be four years old by January 1, 2012, to participate. Games will be held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Willow Creek Park. The season begins on April 21. The cost is $70, which includes uniforms.
