Local student named to Who's Who

Melissa Zamarin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark W. Zamarin of Park City, is among 34 Roanoke college students named to the 2007 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Campus nominating committees and the deitors of the annual directory have included the names of accepted students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. Outstanding students have been honored in the directory since it was first published in 1934. Roanoke College is the country’s cecond oldest Lutheran-related college, and is an independent, co-educational four-year liberal arts college.

Volunteers needed

Composting workshops
