LEAH SELZNICK GRADUATES FROM MERCERBURG

Leah Selznick, of Park City, was one of 127 students who graduated from Mercersburg Academy at the school’s 119th Commencement ceremony this spring. Selznick will attend Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where she will be a member of the swim team. Mercersburg Academy is a coeducational, independent college-preparatory boarding and day school in south-central Pennsylvania with students in grades 9-12. In 2011-2012, approximately 430 students were enrolled from 30 states and 34 nations.

SCHOOL DISTRICT BUDGET QUESTIONS

The Park City School District has created a webpage answering common questions and providing information about the 2012-2013 budget. COMMUNITY EDUCATION BLUE PLANET COURSE

The Park City School District’s Community Education Department will offer Blue Planet: Ocean Worlds, for students between the ages of 3.5 to 5. Students will explore ocean habitats from the arctic to the tropics, including sea life like sharks, seals, jellyfish and tuna. The course is scheduled June 25 29, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., at Parley’s Park Elementary. The cost is $89. For more information visit the school district’s website at http://www.pcschools.us .
