Halloween Safety & Fun Day

Park City Recreation and the Park City Police Department plans to host Halloween Safety & Fun Day on Monday, Oct. 29, at Miner’s Hospital. Join them from 5 – 6 p.m. for a free evening of tricking and treating with a costume contest, games, drawings and more. There will also be safety presentations in English and Spanish. Town hall vouchers meeting

A town hall meeting to debate vouchers will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, at Ecker Hill International Middle School at 7 p.m. Members of UEA and Parents for Choice will be present to speak. After the moderated presentations from both sides, there will be time for questions from the audience. For more information, call Lisa Kirchenheiter at 435.649.7786.

2007/2008 School Learn To Skate program

Students at McPolin and Parley’s Park can learn the basics of ice skating going forward, backwards, stopping, and more from qualified instructors at the Park City Ice Arena. Registration form and fee should be turned in to the front office at McPolin or Parley’s Park by Friday, Nov. 2.
