Many volunteers are needed in the following roles: score runners, door keepers, sale registration and more. Time slots for these roles are: 8 am 11 am, 11 am 2 pm, and 2 pm 5 pm.

If students, in need of community service hours, or parents, would like to volunteer please contact Jenny Zachry at ad@utahodyssey.com

Donations are still needed for the Grad Night Party for the Park City High School Class of 2013. Donations are used to help finance the party and according to the high school, much more in needed to finalize the event. All donations that are made before April 15 will be entered in a drawing for reserved seating on the Dozier Field track during the graduation ceremony. So far 40 families have helped. To donate, please make checks payable to PCHS Grad Night and drop off or mail donations to the PCHS main office.

PCHS PTSO board positions open

The Park City High School’s Parent Teacher Student Operations has board positions available for the next school year, according to Kelly Thomas, PTSO president.

The PTSO is looking for a new president. The job entails setting the annual PTSO budget, compiling the agenda and running the monthly meeting, attending the PCSD PTO/PTA every month, arranging volunteers for projects during the school year.

"These positions are a conduit for information between parents, teachers, students and administrators," Thomas said. "This is a great volunteer position that I highly recommend. The parents, students, teachers and administrators at Park City High School are a very enjoyable group to work with."

A treasurer is also needed for the group. This position works closely with the rest of the PTSO board concerning budget, paying bills, receiving payments, and preparing the monthly report.

Both Thomas and Deborah Leigh, treasurer, will be leaving at the end of the school year because of graduating children.

For more information, please e-mail Thomas at pchsptso2012.13@gmail.com.
