Eat Awesome Things at School (EATS) is a local organization that works to promote healthy living and eating in the Park City School District. Ann Bloomquist, co-founder of EATS, worked with the Park City Medical Center to have Chef Jason Kieffer teach a class at Park City High School. Kieffer taught students how to make cole slaw by substituting the unhealthy ingredients with healthier options. Melanie Christeson’s ProStart third-year culinary class studied with Kieffer on Friday, March 28. Bloomquist, left, participated in a taste test with students Anabelle Dunn, Mark Bensen, Emily Van Leuven, Daniel Craig and Kieffer.
