On Tuesday, April 22, the Sterling Scholar competition was held at Morgan High School. South Summit High School had the third highest number of winners and runner-up students at the competition this year. Several of them were honored at the district school board meeting on Thursday, May 8. Superintendent Barry Walker, far left, awarded the students, who are listed clockwise. Steven Flinders, Grace Schultz, Rachel Marchant, Marisa Wilde, Anna Young, Sage Boyce, Laura Lance, Shayle Thompson, Zakary McArthur and Jennifer Bodily.
