Voter guide offers look at school board candidates
As part of its Voter Guide 2014, The Park Record asked the six school board candidates in Summit County’s three races a series of questions, offering readers a candid look at each candidate’s platform. Questions ranged from how districts should handle limited budgets to how they can improve the performance of Hispanic students. All answers were printed verbatim and edited only for length.
We hope the guide serves as a useful tool for voters as they head to the polls, allowing them to make informed decisions that will impact the future of education in Summit County. Candidates running unopposed were not included.
