Ella Maye Berry Yates

Ella Maye Berry Yates, 83, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008, in Heber City, Utah.

She was born May 13, 1925, in Park City, to Edward Lawerence Berry and Mary Leona Waddell.

She Married Virgil A Yates on August 31, 1946 in Park City, the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Survived by her Children, Judy Nelson (Joe) of Midway, Doug (Debbie) Yates of Heber, Carey (Carrie) Yates of Coalville, and Brian (Brenda) Yates of Heber; 8 Grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Bill (Marion) Berry, and James (Lila) Berry.

She is preceded in death by her husband, 4 sisters, 1 brother, and 2 great grandchildren.

Ella was very active in her church and community serving in many callings. She was dedicated to the Park City Senior Citizens.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Midway 7th LDS Ward, 200 S. 250 E., in Midway. A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Olpin Hoopes Funeral Home, Heber City, and also from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church, prior to the service. Interment will be in the Park City Cemetery.
