Rocky Mountain Power Blue Sky Energy Project holds informational tour, Swaner EcoCenter extended summer hours, Swaner offers nature walks
BLUE SKY RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECT
Rocky Mountain Power will host an informative renewable energy project tour on Sept. 30. Participants will have the opportunity to visit a solar project at the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter in Park City. Tour partners include Whole Foods Market, Recycle Utah, the City of Park City and Spectrum Engineering. SWANER ECOCENTER EXPANDS SUMMER HOURS
The Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is open six days a week. The EcoCenter offers a green building tour, a coyote den exhibit and beaver lodge and mountain views from the pier and observation tower. The EcoCenter will be open every Tues. through Fri., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter offers weekly nature walks on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Boots or mud-shoes are recommended and all ages are welcome. Reservations are required and must be received by noon of the Wednesday prior to the walk. The nature walks cost $5 for non-members. Please RSVP to Savannah@SwanerEcoCenter.org or call (435) 252-3583.
