Cinco de Mayo 5K

Mountain Trails Foundation invites the community to the Cinco de Mayo 5K, which will be held on May 5 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Both the start and the finish will be at the Colby School and the course will follow the McLeod Creek Trail. Team Sugar/White Pine Touring race members will compete in their third race of the 2007 season in Lehi as part of the Intermountain Cup Race Series this weekend. Team Sugar/White Pine Touring is a dedicated group of women mountain bike racers devoted to introducing as many women as possible to the sport as well as to promote the fun of competitive racing. Extreme soccer

Park City Extreme Soccer Club is holding a community information meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 7 in the Trailside Park Administration Building. Anyone interested in learning more about competitive club soccer or who has specific questions about the Park City Extreme Soccer Club is invited to attend. Extreme will be holding tryouts May 21-June 1 for boys ages 9-16 and girls ages 9- 11. Experienced eight-year-olds may tryout to play up one year. The tryouts will be led by coaching director Bob Martin. Extreme teams are trained by professional, licensed coaches with international, national and collegiate experience as players and coaches. The club hosts both competitive and developmental "B" level teams in most age groups.
