Pedal Pusher Film Festival
The Depot, located at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake, is hosting the fourth annual Pedal Pusher Film Festival on May 19 at 7:30 p.m. The festival is a benefit for the Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective, a non-profit group that refurbishes old bikes for those in need. The Pedal Pusher Film Festival is a display of what happens when cutting-edge directors meet up with the people who push pedals- fixed gears, road bikes, cruisers, mountain bikes, and more. The movies are intense and the bike work is incredible. The festival will also include an exclusive preview of the short films that have packed the houses in Tokyo, New York, and San Francisco. There will be performances by local musicians, track stand competitions, give-aways and a party. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 on the day of the event. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit http://www.slcbikecollective.org or call (801) FAT-BIKE. Valet bike parking is free.
