The Utah Olympic Park will feature the Flying Ace All-Stars for another season of Saturday freestyle shows. The choreographed show features skiers and snowboarders soaring up to 60 feet in the air and performing acrobatic feats before landing in the Utah Olympic Park’s, 750,000 gallon splash pool. Starting June 16, the Flying Ace All-Stars Saturday Freestyle Shows will be held every Saturday at noon through Labor Day. A park admission will be charged from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., because this is a special event. The Park City Racquet Club is offering dog obedience classes this summer. Classes are taught by certified local dog trainer Heather Hampsten and begin on Tuesday, June 26. Puppy preschool is held at 6 p.m. Basic obedience classes will be held at 7 p.m. and Intermediate Obedience will follow at 8 p.m. All classes are held at the Park City Racquet Club. Adult Co-ed Soccer Tournament
Park City Recreation will hold their first annual Summer 7’s Coed Soccer Tournament at City Park, June 23-24. Teams will compete in pool play followed by a single-elimination tournament. The winning team takes home a trophy, championship T-shirt and bragging rights. The cost is $150 per team. To register and for more information, call Jessica at 615-5414.
Roxy Bikini Pop Drop Axis Freeride has partnered with Roxy for the Bikini Pop Drop, an all-girls water ramp training camp open to the public at the Utah Olympic Park, June 27-29. The three-day camp, sponsored by Roxy and run by Axis Freeride, will allow participants to learn general air sense, refine their current skills and add some new moves to their repertoire. The camp is perfect for all ages and abilities, and all participants will be outfitted with a Roxy swimsuit. The camp includes entry into the Roxy Bikini Pop Drop Jam at the end of the three-day session, where participants can show off their new skills to friends, family and a panel of judges, with the opportunity to win Roxy gear. The camp staff is all-female as well. The camp will be held Wednesday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. 4 a.m. and Friday 9 a.m. 5:30 p.m. The Roxy Bikini Pop Drop Jam Competition will be held from 4 5:30 p.m. The cost is $250, which includes equipment, a Roxy bathing suit and lunches.
