White Pine Touring will premier the movie, "Steep," a story of the history of big mountain skiing around the world, on Friday Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Redstone Theaters. Local athlete, Andrew McLean, one of the film’s stars, will offer a slide show and lecture on his trip to Iceland for the filming of the movie on Friday at 5 p.m. at White Pine Touring on Bonanza Drive.

‘Tis the Season to Recycle
The Park City Lacrosse Organization (PCLO) announces its annual holiday tree pick-up fundraiser. Lacrosse players and their parents pick up holiday trees in their trucks and haul it to local mulching areas. Pick-up dates including, Saturday, Dec. 29, Saturday, Jan. 5, or Saturday, Jan. 12. The cost is $15 payable to PCLO (a non-profit organization).

Basin Recreation is offering a basketball camp for boys and girls grades 2-8. The camp will be held at Ecker Hill Middle School Wednesday, Dec. 26 through Friday Dec. 28 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The cost of the camp is $50. The camp will be run by Barry Hecker, a former NBA, collegiate, and high school coach. His valuable knowledge and experience will provide fundamental knowledge of basketball and players will work on the basics of the game.
