The Utah High School Lacrosse League will host the 2008 All-Star games at Dozier Field on Wednesday, May 21. At halftime of each game, the league will present individual awards to the players. The girls’ all-star game will begin at 3:45 p.m., followed by the boys’ division A game at 5:30 p.m. The night will finish with boys’ division B game at 7:30 p.m. All-state, coach of the year, rookie of the year and MVP awards will be presented at half-time. Eleven Park City players will receive all-state recognition.

Friday skate jams

Park City Recreation will host jam-format skateboard competitions May 16 and May 30 from 5:30-7 p.m. The skate jams will take place in the new street plaza at the Park City Skate Park. All competitors must wear helmets. The cost is $15 per division on the day of registration. Pre-register at The Click or The Park City Racquet Club for a discounted entry fee. Park City pool hours

The Park City Racquet Club leisure pool opens May 24 weekends only, from noon until 5 p.m. The lap pool is now open Monday through Friday, noon to 1:15 p.m., for the coached workout and from 3 until 7 p.m. for open swim.
