Axis Freeride will hold a Winter Programs Info Night at Black Diamond Gymnastics at Redstone on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The free event will allow kids to train in the gym while parents get information about Axis Freeride’s winter programs. Start Smart Sports-tacular

Park City Recreation is offering a Start Smart Sports-tacular program, where parents can help teach their 3 – 6 year-olds the basics of baseball, basketball and football. Throwing, hitting, catching, dribbling and shooting will be covered. The program runs from Oct. 28 through Nov. 13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.

Soccer Unites Utah

Real Salt Lake’s (RSL) Soccer Unites Utah, a charitable group raising funds to offset the costs of chemotherapy treatments and a bone-marrow transplant for Marcia Williams, the wife of RSL mid-fielder Andy Williams, who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, will host a benefit soccer match between Juan Diego and Judge Memorial Catholic high schools on Tuesday, Sept. 30, and a Casino Night at the Salt Palace Convention Center on Saturday, Oct. 11.
