The Youth Riders Bike Swap will be held May 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and May 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop-offs will be accepted May 14 and 15 from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Yard, 1251 Kearns Blvd. For more information, call 659-1188 or visit http://www.youngriders.com . Cole Sport will also sponsor a bike swap May 16-17 at its location at 1615 Park Avenue. Bike drop-off begins Friday, May 15, and bikes or payments can be picked up after 2 p.m. Sunday. Bikes that are not sold or reclaimed will be donated to a local charity. There is no charge to enter bikes in the Cole Sport swap; bikes that sell require a $10 contribution to Mountain Trails. Girls advance in golf
The Park City High School Girls’ Golf team clinched the Region 10 championships last Thursday. The team will compete in the 3A State Tournament Thursday, May 14, at 9 a.m. at Schneiter’s Bluff in West Point.
Water Polo update
The Park City water polo team will compete in the state tournament Friday and Saturday, May 15-16, at the Deseret Peak Complex in Tooele. On Friday, the boys will go up against Cache Valley at 9:50 a.m. and Cedar City at 2:25 p.m. The girls will play the same schools at 10:45 a.m. and 7:55 p.m. Depending on Friday’s results, the girls will play at either 8:00 or 8:55 a.m. on Saturday, and either 1:30 or 3:30 p.m. if they make it to the final game. The boys will play at either 9:50 or 10:45 a.m. and either 2:30 or 4:30 p.m. if they advance to the finals.

Vegas on ice

Sports Physicals for students
The Park City Healthcare Clinic located at 1665 Bonanza Dr. will hold physical exams for all students interested in participating in athletic activities for the 2009-2010 school year on Thursday, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. Physicals are required for all students participating in UHSAA-sanctioned athletic activities and must be on file before beginning practice or competition. The cost is $15 (cash or check only); proceeds from these physicals come back to Park City High School in the form of scholarships.
