Please join us for the skate park expansion ribbon cutting ceremony. Come join Mayor Dana Williams to celebrate the grand opening of the expanded skate park on Friday, October 13 at 3 p.m. Immediately following is a skate competition for best trick in the new street section. All competitors must wear a helmet. Cost for this event is $5. Those interested can pre-register at the Racquet Club. Call 615-5401, or register at the skate park on the day of the event.
Lehi football game
The Park City varsity football game against Lehi slated for Wednesday, Oct. 11 will be held at Dozier Field at 7 p.m. It was originally scheduled to be held at Lehi High School.
Free fencing
The Park City Fencing Academy is offering a free Introduction to Fencing class on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 2-4 p.m. Participants will learn about the three different weapons used in the Olympics, basic footwork and blade work, and have an opportunity to fence other class participants.
