Farmer’s Market opens today

The Farmer’s Market will return to Deer Valley again starting today. The market will take place at the Cabriolet parking lot every Wednesday until the last week of October from noon to 6 p.m. This year will feature a number of newcomers to the scene. Familiar venders will be there as well with exceptional food. There will be local musicians and artist that will create a positive ambiance for the event. Utahns wanted on TV

The Women’s Entertainment Network is looking for Utah talent. They are producing a documentary style wedding show that will follow the bride through her final wedding preparations, to include the rehearsal dinner, actual ceremony, and the reception. "Bridezillas" is in its 4th season and is still the No. 1 show on the network. Wanship local, T.J. Bates, is in charge of casting. The Timpanogos Valley Theater Company will present the classic comedy, "The Music Man." It is a look at small-town life in River City, Iowa during 1912; a period of optimism, patriotism and a strong sense of community. Nature preserve festival

Swaner Nature Preserve’s watershed festival will be held outside of Basin Recreation’s Field House at Newpark, Saturday, June 10. This is a free and informative community event sponsored by the preserve, Park City, Summit County, Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District, and the East Canyon Watershed Committee.
