Festival celebrates buying local

The third annual Harvest Fest will be held Saturday Oct. 6 from 1 to 6 p.m. at High Star Ranch, located at 976 North State Road 32 in Kamas. The festival celebrates local Summit County food, arts and entertainment, and it is free to the public. Kids can make crafty crows and parents can purchase an array of local goods from dozens of venders. The Gateway Grille, Done to Your Taste Catering, Los Montes, Wasatch Brew Pub and Park City Coffee Roasters will provide food and local musicians Shane Jackman, Che Zuro, High Altitude, Bill McGinnis and Paul Fritzler will entertain.
