The Park City area has the most confirmed cases of the swine flu in the state.
Health officials said Wednesday that five people in Summit County have contracted the H1N1 virus. There are 13 other probable cases of swine flu in the Park City area, said Katie Mullaly, a spokeswoman for the Summit County Health Department.
One confirmed case in Summit County was a child who traveled to Mexico for spring break. Mullaly did not release any information about the patients in the other confirmed cases in a telephone interview Wednesday.
"We’re coordinating closely with the school nurses and ensuring sick kids and teachers stay home," Mullaly said.
