Food banks receive donations

For the sixth consecutive year, Kamas-based All West Communications has donated funds to local food banks in their service areas. This year, the following food banks will each receive $5,000:
- Bountiful Food Pantry, Bountiful
- Christian Center of Park City, Park City
- Community Action Services, Coalville
- Community Action Services, Oakley
- Food Bank of Sweetwater County, Green River, Wyo.
- Food Bank of Sweetwater County, Rock Springs, Wyo.
- Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank, Ogden
- The Lord’s Storehouse, Evanston, Wyo.
- Tooele Community Resource Center, Tooele
- Weber Cares Pantry at Weber State University, Ogden
Each year since 2018, All West has given $50,000 to local food banks.
Kay Rossiter, director of The Lord’s Storehouse in Evanston, Wyo., expressed appreciation for All West’s support.
“We are feeding 250 families a week right now and every dollar is being put to use,” said Rossiter.
State officials are unsure what killed 13 cows near the Rail Trail
The Utah Department of Agriculture took one of the animals for testing, and it’s been unable to determine the cause of death thus far.
